Stephen King Books

Used and new Stephen King books; each used copy carries a condition grade from the independent US bookseller holding it. King's first published novel, Carrie, came out from Doubleday on April 5, 1974; The Shining followed in January 1977, after he and his wife Tabitha spent the last night of the season at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Our shelf mixes those early horror classics with later books such as 11/22/63, Fairy Tale and the Holly Gibney novel Holly.

New to King? Start with Carrie (short, 1970s, his debut) or Misery (one house, two characters). Want the full classic-horror story behind them? Read our guide to classic horror novels and editions.
